Design Printing has been in business since 1984, and our trademark, Your Green Printer© has been a critical aspect to our identity since then. Over the years, we have embraced every option available to allow us to produce first quality printed materials with conservation and reforestation as our environmental protection policy.
What sets us apart is our ability to produce quickly, efficiently, and competitively while honoring our environmental commitments and in fact, improving upon them regularly.
Our initiatives:
- We use FSC certified papers as house stock; we also can access 100% post consumer waste papers. We offer recyclable packaging and poster stocks as well, including foam core!
- We use vegetable-based inks, which reduce VOC emissions and are water soluble.
- Direct to plate processing eliminates the intermediate steps and reduces material usage.
- Our cutting edge digital and electronic (chemical-free) printers allow us to print short runs, long runs, large format, variable data formats for any quantities, reducing waste & overages.
- We are the home of one-stop shopping: all printing, plating, finishing & binding, even special effects, is done under one roof. This allows us to produce booklets, brochures, flyers, postcards & stationery, large format posters, banners & signs under one roof.
- Our in-house recycling program includes recycling programs for paper & cardboard stocks, toner cartridges, waste papers and printing plates.
- Our production plant has been designed to offer energy savings via lighting, heating and electrical advances. This includes changes in HVAC, lighting, and delivery services.
You Print One, We Plant One
Design Printing is a designated PrintReleaf partner. With this program, the total weight of any paper or cardboard used is replaced with the same value in trees that are planted in the forest of your choice. This is third party verified to assure compliance.
